In a world that abuses so much the very idea and scriptural doctrine of the love of Christ, David Harsha gets us back to what the love of the Savior really means, and what is the cost associated with it. The author travels with us from the Incarnation of the Son of God, though His sufferings and death, and applies it to the bestowment of grace to the sinner. But he does not stop there. He expounds then on how the love of Christ brings comfort in the believer's live in many circumstances, from the moments of joy and happiness, to those times of affliction and even death. He adds then over 25 witnesses of the love of Christ from the history of the Church and ends with bringing the reader to the perspective of being with Christ in glory, the very blessedness of the saints. David Harsha (1827-1895) was and American religious writer and biographer. He studied theology and tried to enter ministry, but was prevented by a chronic bronchial affection.
